GNO: Gym Bod Date + One Park Restaurant Review

There’s something about a girls’ night that starts in the gym that just hits different. A little sweat, a little discipline, and a lot of “we really showed up for ourselves and the confidence we radiate when we got all dolled up.

Our long-awaited "Gym Bod Date" finally came around, and while we didn’t hit every goal exactly how we imagined, the progress? Loud. Visible. Earned. Stronger lifts, more confidence, and just enough soreness to remind us we’ve been outside putting in the work. No shame, just pride and honestly, that set the tone for the entire night.
Because what’s a gym date without a reward?
Enter: One Park.
The shift from gym wear to GNO glam needs to be studied. Same girls, completely different energy. We traded dumbbells for cocktails and stepped into a space that immediately felt like perfect the spot to flaunt our gains and newfound confidence. Clean, modern, a little sultry—perfect for a GNO.

The food? Solid. Pricy but worth it for a celebratory night. The kind of menu where you pause for a second because everything sounds like a good decision. Flavorful, well-presented, and satisfying without feeling too heavy (which, considering the gym session, was very necessary). The drinks carried their weight too—balanced, not overly sweet, and definitely doing what they needed to do as the night went on.

But honestly, the highlight wasn’t just the food or the aesthetics—it was the feeling. That soft reward after showing up for yourself. Sitting across from your friend knowing you’ve both been putting in the work, inside and outside the gym.
It wasn’t about having the “perfect” body. It was about celebrating the one we’re building.
I'm ready for part 2 to influence the gains.

Until next bite!
Whimsically, Vanessa
